Hearing that Pellegrini has until the Southampton game to prove himself before we seriously look at changing manager. I always knew he’d get another week in charge, only for us to scrap a win and save himself for the next couple weeks. The way we are playing is equivalent of a relegation bound team, which we have established for ourselves. There’s not much to say. The geezer has no idea what he’s setting up before every match. The same plan, the same formation, the same play style with different players here and there. I said at half time yesterday, “We weren’t great but we didn’t need to be” which I laugh at thinking of it now. Match Review- Monday night football and last game of the weekend saw Arsenal overturn a 1-0 lead and secured their first win since early October. This was also a game in which they came from behind and won, they haven’t done this since 2011. Another game,another loss. The game was there for the taking and we didn’t take it. Arsenal came to our place in poor form and of course we made them look good. Can’t fault the goals because they were well worked but our whole team just seemed stunned when the first went in its unbelievable. They had all switched off and looked as though they’d had enough- every single player. Pellegrini then finally made a change when we were 3-1 down and brought on Sebastien Haller, again no urgency to win the ball and seemed sluggish. I missed the first half however got back for the 2nd, the first 10 minutes of the second I thought we played good football however couldn’t finish a weak Arsenal team off and fluffed our chances. They then went down the other end and scored convincingly, you just couldn’t make it up..... Pellegrini needs to go, the board needs to go, half the players need to go.
