I have to celebrate yesterday as it’s special - an anniversary almost.
Yesterday, last year, 11th December 2018, I went to a Randy Houser concert, last minute and by myself which is so out of my comfort zone. At this concert I was so consumed in the moment of good music and brilliant country vibes. It was a getaway from the city rubbish and I was surrounded by great down-to-earth country folk, wearing the Akubras and the Ariat boots and we all sang our hearts out to our favourite songs. I didn’t know anyone there but I had never felt so part of something before.
This concert changed my life and I left, with my heart screaming to work and be a part of this lifestyle. The next couple of days I got onto some contacts and organised experience on a small family farm & jump forward to February and I start my first day as a calf rearer on a dairy farm.
This last year I have had the best year of my life, I have met my soul mate and we are now making a perfect little baby. None of this wouldn’t of happened if it wasn’t for that Randy Houser concert.
So happy one year to me. Happy one year to the day that changed my life. 🐄🎀 #mystory #hardwork #determination #motivation #horses #cowgirl #ariat #countrygirl #countrylife #farmgirl #farmlife #dairyfarmer #countrygirlsaustralia @countrygirlsaustralia
