5/6/19: I have not been able to get this amazing experience off my heart. 😭 My girlfriend, evangelist and humble, powerful, revivalist Summer Haggins of I Am Warrior Princess @iamwarriorprincess747 hosted a party and invited all of the Christian women who have been connected to her ministry. About 30 minutes into the party her Muslim neighbor walked up with her stroller and three kids. From the bottom of her stroller she pulled out a large pot of soup with bowls and spoons and proceeded to serve us all her homemade traditional Afghan soup. She told us that Ramadan starts this week. Upon my asking more about her life and how she got to the states, she shared that they were in the US on a work visa but some of her family were still in the way of danger in Afghanistan.... actually with literal threats on their life by the Taliban. .
We all talked and played games and then ended the party with a prayer circle (that lasted about 30 minutes). Summer asked if her neighbor wanted to pray with us. At first her response was that she prays 5 times a day. And then she asked if we wanted her to leave . After a resounding, “no, of course not!!!” She joined our prayer circle. Everyone’s eyes were closed during our powerful prayer which involved several people speaking in tongues, lots of passion, declaring and decreeing. Summer felt led to bring her middle daughter into the circle so we could pray over her. I had felt in my spirit earlier there was something really special about this little one (but I had not told summer this). She was off by herself a lot and I even caught her talking to a tree 😆💓. At the end of our prayers we all opened our eyes and there was not a single dry eye. This goes to show the unifying and healing power of GOD. .
Most religions believe in God. Why do we spend so much time bashing each other or trying to prove who is right at the expense of unity? (Cont below)
