A majority of what I have in my cabinet is @grownalchemist, so I decided to write a little bit about my impressions on it.
I was speaking with “A” about this the other day and I have been noticing this past week or some bumps/redness (specifically around the cheekbone area). “A” has been telling me to add a couple things and take away little portions of my regimen at a time, and we have narrowed it down to one particular product that might be causing this — the Detox Serum Antioxidant +3 by Grown Alchemist.
Our initial impressions on the serum was that it was quite watery and a little bit of a hassle to try to apply. The smell we were a little indifferent to. However, I loved how it felt on my face during the routine! I personally could really feel the serum sinking into my skin in a very refreshing way.
With all of that to say, I think I personally will step away from the serum as it’s causing some problems for me and my skin seems to be too sensitive to it. According to “A” I have a pretty normal skin type and can range depending on the whether. We both agree that Grown Alchemist overall has such a clean line of products, and anyone who is interested in a brand that produces a clean product should consider them.
All in all, I’ve been enjoying the Matte Balancing Moisturizer by them and currently in the process of trying out their Strengthening - Shampoo & Conditioner 0.2 (notes to come later)
