by practicing liberating ourselves from our conditioning, pain, governors, and self-defeating recurring thoughts in the practice of yoga asana, that openness of heart and comfort of mindful awareness resonates into other parts of our lives. Through mindful meditation we can apply that openness and comfort appropriately to more powerful deciding aspects of our being. We can choose to apply release of suffering to financial responsibility, art, relationships, or disobedient protest of oppressive systems. By mastering our ability to liberate ourselves from stress we can enter those oppressive systems mindfully and with intention, raise collective consciousness to the possibility of liberation through grace in our actions, speech, and thoughts.
