During grad school in 1997, a guest lecturer from the risk management office described the college's fund for mitigating the various onslaught of liabilities that come with running a large organization. The next day I stumbled into an exposed pipe that tore a hole in my shoes. After filling out some paperwork holding the college otherwise harmless, I received a check for $100. I was able to fix the tear and am to this day walking around in 23 year old #docmartens .

Missing this icy blonde tbh ❄️ . So I got my hair cut and colored a bit darker last week and I’m still getting used to it—I loved it at first and I’m not really sure why I feel so-not-myself. Thinking about going back to silver after the holidays but I’ll try some new hairstyles in the meantime. The ultimate goal was to transition into a more natural look so my hair will grow out healthy. I used to have waist length hair in college and it was so glamorous lol buuuut now I think I’d prefer cute hair over long hair. All that extra time spent blow-drying yknow? . My hair is such a big part of my identity and self confidence so seeing this new look in the mirror every morning is still throwing me for a loop. I’ll do some new fit pics this week tho.
