THE POST BABY CHOP
Why do so many women do this? 👶🏻👶🏻🤰🤰
Well for starters... when you have a lot of hair you want to eliminate the amount of hair you have to deal with on a daily basis bc you may be busy... You know taking care of your tiny human.
But also a lot of people chop bc their hair is falling out 😱
THIS IS NORMAL
Most women, about 4/5 months post baby notice their hair shedding like crazy.
During pregnancy your hormone levels rise and because of this your hair doesn’t shed. In fact it’s prob the best your hair has ever felt, but After you have the baby your hormones will drop back to normal and that will cause your hair to shed and then followed by new hair growth (baby hairs! 😱) Don’t freak out your hair will return back to normal. Also not everyone needs to chop their hair off lol you can always take some vitamins or continue prenatal vitamins to help the new growth. This also goes for all hormone changes not just pregnancy, but I just wanted to show off @emelendezxo cute new mom bob ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This cold winter air has my hair dry and brittle. I need to get a protective style ASAP before my curls break off 😫 Thinking about getting these crochet passion twists again 🤔 They’re so low maintenance, versatile, and still looked good a month in 😍 #thehealthycurl
