Overwhelmed with TOO MANY things on your plate during the holidays?? Read this!! What I want you to do RIGHT NOW, before we get any further into the holiday season, is to think of THREE WORDS that describe how you want to FEEL for the next month.
Then, every single time you are asked to do something, I want you to think of those 3 words. Does that activity or event make you feel like one of those three words?
If so, then go do it.
If not, then say no.
No shame, no explanation, nothing. Just don’t do it.
This season is already busy. There is NO REASON you are accepting invites to do things that don’t make you feel how you want to feel.
Quit feeling obligation to things even if it was a tradition in the past. If you want to change how you feel over the holidays, that might include changing the things that you do.
