How do you think about change?
Do you see it as this horrific, life altering, disruptive and uncomfortable process?
Do you look at it with curiosity, excitement and hope for something different, new or better?
The way you experience change is dictated by the way you perceive and think about the change. If you perceive and think it is going to be hard, uncomfortable and challenging, that is exactly the experience you will have.
If you open yourself up to something new, different or better coming in (while acknowledging there might be some discomfort - we aren’t robots) your whole experience of the change will shift.
If you think about this upcoming change to be full of anxiety, worry, and disruption, you’ll attract that in. Instead, call in what you do want from this change. The new, different, exciting and wonderful. The bumps might still come, but they won’t paralyse you and run you off the road.
I’m about to start working with a new beautiful client who is about to go through a change in her life and I’m excited for her to be armed with tools and a mindset that will empower her to make this change the best it can be.
