@woodysofwellingtoninc did a phenomenal job restoring my #Lucchese Helene boots.
I was in a rather unique and horrific accident on New Years which caused me to be in an irrigation canal for several hours while wearing these boots. They were completely destroyed. I was torn between throwing them out because of the accident, but I simply couldn’t because of the sentimental value that they ultimately hold. I could buy the same pair of Lucchese boots, but they simply wouldn’t be the same. It took me a very long time, almost a year, to have the courage to do something about my boots.
I was extremely emotional dropping them off; however, I did receive the most amazing customer service and support I’ve ever experienced all the while making a new friend.
Anthony (Tony) gave a new life to my boots. The leather soles were replaced, heels were restored, the rubber on the heels was completely replaced, and the beautiful cognac color of the boots is back. I can tell he put a lot of work into these boots and I’ll be forever grateful the work he did.
I wish I had taken before pictures because these boots are hardly recognizable to the ones I dropped off. I hadn’t worn these boots since the start of the year because they were truly not able to be worn. I couldn’t walk in them. I was also too heartbroken to look at them. I can’t express how pleased I am.
After almost a year of being hidden in the closet, I couldn’t wait to put them on. I wore them out of the store and was hysterical by the time I got to my car. I even danced along the way.
Call me emotional, but I feel like the piece of my heart that simply couldn’t find the strength to heal this past year, has been finally been mended and healed.
