This one may have made it to the back of our #christmascard if it weren’t for the random heiney shot in the background! #girlmom #boymom #momof4 #milenial #tugal19 funny thing was I thought I was experiencing the Mediterranean for the first time but the truth is the south of Portugal is still the Atlantic 🤭 but they are all connected like we are, it’s humans who give them names, separate them... it’s humans who give borders, draw lines of segregation... but in the end what really defines who or what we are? Nothing besides our relationships with those we love. And loving one another doesn’t end or begin with family though that’s a nice place to start. In this season of remembering who I personally look up to, I’m reminded that my relationship with Him is personal. “Hi my name is “blah” and I really love my father” said no one ever, so were is the need to push individual views on another? Not here, that’s for sure; but God Bless is what I say, because it’s my wish for you as I believe fit. Blessings come in all shapes and sizes but that’s what I’ve tuned into. Our view of the perfect ideal is skewed by our own superfluous vision fielded by a media driven world of idealism that only a few will attain, but when they do are they really happy? Happiness itself is fleeting. Happiness will always be chased. But joy is imminent and when we are able to tune into that, when the sound comes in crystal clear, that’s the sweet spot; that’s the edge. It’s not visual-it’s personal, and maybe we share it with a loved one or maybe it becomes a memory we treasure in our hearts while we wait, while we work, while we reconnect. Building a life is what we are all doing. And helping one another, even in the smallest of ways, is the mortar that holds us all together.
