I think a ton about the legacy I leave for my child. My own father died when I was in my early 20s. I WISH he could see me today - I really think I have made him proud.
Earlier this month I declared we were donating 200 canned good items to families in need. I wanted to give them to families in Brooklynns school. One can for every piece of clothing we sold.
Y’all. I decided that in the middle of the night and didn’t really know. Then we exceeded that the first week because of this amazing community. So I got excited and said we are hitting 500!
In the meantime I’ve figured out that we actually can give it to families in Our school district that need it and the school counselor was SO EXCITED. you guys. We are making a difference in lives! Lots of them. Over 50 families.
We sit at 424 cans as of this morning. 500 Is the goal and that’s what’s going to the school Tuesday but on this Small Business Saturday I’d love your support in helping us get there.
I want the legacy I leave my daughter to be one of confidence, persistence, a heart to help everyone and the desire to do the same. #novembergiving #helpothers #betsystyle #lularoe
