What got me here?
OK so, for a start, a much steeper climb than I thought when I suggested we walked from Hollywood Boulevard after we had just missed the bus to Lake Hollywood Park and would have to wait another 20 minutes for the next! Although it doesn't look it in the (not very Instagram worthy) picture it was hot and humid, and I am not a fan of climbing in humidity.
But that aside, hiking to the Hollywood sign and around the canyon trails to the Griffith Observatory had been on my list since 2014 when we first went to LA.
This picture doesn't just remind me of that, but also how much I had to pivot in the months before taking this holiday so I could do all this without checking my emails or worrying about what was going on.
Of course it took a few days to be comfortable with leaving things in the brilliant hands of my team, but I put faith in all that I had put in place to do this.
It doesn't sound that big of a deal does it, but it really is. I speak to so many entrepreneurs who are trying to make their business work better for them while still showing up and delivering an amazing service to their clients and customers.
We do need to switch how we do things to make our business lifestyles more how we would like them to be, and that can be tough when our comfort zones often shout the loudest!
