Strength is typically composed of slow and controlled movements while using low reps with heavy weight. *Something that is challenging enough to get you though the interval and needing rest after.
Toning is a faster pace which uses more higher reps and lighter weight that can be sustained for the entire interval. *Full disclaimer: If your heart is beating fast, you’re doing it right!
I’ve seen way TOO many fitness professionals create workouts that are either too dangerous OR not realistic instead of an actual training routine.
