PRINT MIXING 101! ⭐️ Long caption alert.
When I’ve asked y’all for feedback, almost all of you asked for how-to’s on print mixing! Today’s outfit was pretty basic. Swipe over to see it on my body. 🤩
The best and easiest (I think) way is to find two prints with just two colors, like the outfit above. A common choice for me is leopard and stripes. My tip is to choose one print that’s larger and one that’s smaller. The print in the booties is a little more busy than the print in the top but the colors are the exact same. Separate it with a common color; my choice is almost always black. Throw a black jacket on and from any other angle it looks like all black w/ a cute pattern on your feet!
The next “level” would be as simple as finding a leopard top that was a black and brown w/ white and then you could add something like white sunglasses, or white earrings... you get the idea. If the colors aren’t EXACT, I just can’t mix them because to me it looks sloppy and less intentional. 🤷🏼♀️
Tag me if you try some! And if you like this, let me know and I’ll try to dissect some more mixed-print outfits for y’all. 🥰
