JANUARY 2018 WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HELD THE WOMEN AT THE WELL 8 HOURS TONGUES PRAYER SESSION. Prior to the time the Lord had been speaking to me @hephzibahfrances about opening up the doors of the #nations to me; I didn’t know how it would happen and He said He was going to start with Ghana. As we began to pray, a woman in #ministry from the U.S.A was also praying with us but we started late and she said in the midst of praying she fell asleep and had one of the most vivid dream encounters she had ever had where God anionted me using the faces of one of our current fathers in faith right now. She woke up from that dream sending me a message which I didn’t see till we finished praying and then spread the news to one of her sisters about what she had seen. As a result I came out of prayer place - the eight hours in tongues to see messages of my trip to Ghana being sponsored. Also in the midst of prayer another general in faith had pledged to support the #ministryTrip to #ghana with some dollars which she said she was doing deliberately. Also a contact had been found for the schools we @ayscafrica were going to reach out to and someone else had reached out to me to stay at her place in Ghana. From NOT KNOWING HOW IT WAS GOING TO BE DONE, I came out of #PrayingInTongues fully buffed and READY TO GO BY THE LORD. If you have watched our prayer video on our IGTV where I shared on the correlation between PRAYER AND THE MINISTRY OF ANGELS then you would know that what began to happen as we prayed was that the Lord sent out His MINISTRY ANGELS on our behalf and as we continued to drill in #prayer the Lord continued to work. I have other testimonies streamed from the year of praying in tongues and will share as led later BUT FOR TODAY, THIS IS MY TESTIMONY AND I RETURN ALL THE GLORY TO GOD UNDER THIS MINISTRY ANIONTING. *** If you were in any of our #prayerSessions last year and want to share your testimony, email us at 4thewomenatthewell@gmail.com and let’s give glory to the Lord together. **** As we tone down the year, the Lord is again set to do JAW DROPPING TESTIMONIES as He did for me. Come join us as we #STRETCH in prayer in tongues in Abuja this Saturday

Been pouring over this for the past month and only regret not picking it up sooner. For those of us who grew up with Psalm 23 echoing throughout our years with familiar Sunday-school cadence, this short and incredible little book awakens the awe and amazing depth of the familiar 23rd. For those who can’t quote beyond the first stanza, this book is also just as much a treasure trove for you. I’m changed for the better by this book in how I now understand and feel the raw poem written by a shepherd boy that begins with, “The Lord is my Shepherd...”

Did you know 💡🤔 joy doesn’t depend on what’s happening around us...rather, it comes from God into our spirit as long as we stay connected to Him. You can rise above those circumstances and situations, just keep looking unto Christ, the author and finisher of your faith.

Whew. This is a hard one and I’m not even going to pretend like I’m speaking to you from a point of victory, (at least not yet). So let’s cast away those pride and perfection masks and level for a moment, shall we? . Learning to wait AND have joy is hard. Put that waiting on repeat for years, and you have what feels to be an impossibility. Well, impossible if you rely on your own strength. And that’s because you can’t produce joy on your own. Yes, joy is different than happiness. . See, the enemy loves nothing more than to tempt us into believing that we can conquer all things by our own strength. Especially when we are waiting for a promise from the Lord to come to pass. You get to a point where faith doesn't seem like enough and you think, maybe...just maybe I can DO something to help God make this come to pass FASTER in my life. But God wants you to just trust and believe. Trust and believe without losing your joy in the waiting. Trust and believe without trying to put your own spin on it due to impatience. So, rest. Rest in the promise that the joy of the LORD is your strength. Why trade that promise for a counterfeit? Your personal strength and limited ability can at BEST, manipulate and manufacture something good or mediocre; but is that what you really want? . Do you want to settle for the good and mediocre when God can offer the GREAT? . Let Him lead. Let Him open the doors. Let Him do what only HE can do.

Thank you @lasexton for letting us set up tonight at Live It Up - Ladies Night Out. We enjoyed meeting our veterans and families! Tonight felt like we had come full circle. 10 years ago, we were walking through a very dark and hopeless valley of PTSD. Events like this spoke Truth and Life into me when I desperately needed it. Thank you for ALL you do, Leigh! Love you BIG! #liveitup #ladiesnightout #servingtogether #womeninministry #sisterofmyheart #operationsoldiersheart #posttraumaticgrowth

11.12.19 — Breathe Truth :: “A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.” — Proverbs 14:5, ESV :: I remembered how almost every word out of my dad’s mouth weaved another tangled web of lies and deception. My mom fared as well as she could considering the situation. She kept us children occupied with school and church activities, but after a while, his reputation for withholding the truth caught up to him. A marriage crumbled and it took decades to gain the trust of some of his children before he passed away. :: The turnaround? Asking God to teach him how to breathe in truth. When all you’ve ever inhaled were lies to survive, your lungs get filled with justifications and rationales. Sooner or later, you have to exhale and face the cause, the impact and the fallout because truth always seeps out. :: When Jesus moves into the spaces where lies have dwelt, one or the other is bound to vacate the premises. As the Father sees us as potentially-worthy vessels, it’s up to us to set ourselves apart as worthy (2 Timothy 2:21). :: I watched my dad from a distance after he gave his heart to Christ. As time passed, lies and their hidden associates rarely occupied his life. In fact, he openly apologized for his misdeeds. He humbly accepted whatever connections his children made. And he spoke respectful affirmations. Ah, breathe! :: #breathe #truth #mydad #proverbs145 #tellthetruth #dontlie #2timothy221 #womeninministry #christianblogger #encouragingword #wordofencouragement #inspiresomeone #youarenotalone #youareworthmore #jesuslovesyou #jesusgirl #speakthetruthinlove

(PT 1) Sadly, the world bombards us with lies daily, and unfortunately, many times, we find ourselves buying into and comparing ourselves to those lies. Everything is like a competition these days; we compare grades on assignments, how much playing time we get, we even have celebrity magazines with pages titled "Who Wore it Better?" I have never been what someone might consider popular, and that is okay. It took me a long time to understand that not everyone would like me; no amount of actions I could take were worth the approval of my peers. For me, the day I got to middle school, all I wanted was to fit in. Like many others, my middle school years were rough, especially in the first two years! I wanted those around me to like me. I wanted invites to parties. I didn't want to be the kid chosen last for teams in gym class or the kid trying to find a seat at lunch. I tried to fit in so badly I began cheerleading because all my friends were doing it. Thank goodness I have come to love cheerleading and I now cheer in high school. But as a lost and confused sixth grader, I was willing to do whatever it took. However, at the time, being on the cheer team seemed to be 20 more girls to compare myself to. I made great friends, my teammates were kind, quick to help, and bring positivity; but they were also prettier, stronger, better at tumbling, and faster. I wondered how I could ever measure up to the rest of my team…

(PT 2) My sixth and seventh-grade years were challenging; I felt challenged not because I was stepping out of my comfort zone, but because I felt stuck. I knew that my walk with the Lord was not as strong as I wanted it to be. I began to understand that it was up to me how close or how far away I was to Him. That summer, during church camp, I accepted a call to ministry! I began to listen and watch for what it was God wanted me to be doing. My eighth-grade year I moved to a new school. My new school wasn't as big as my last one. I didn't spend a long time being shy. God allowed me to step out of some of my past insecurities being in a new place…

(PT 3) God called me to take part in leading a school-wide club called First Priority (similar to FCA). Previously I wasn't one volunteer to pray aloud over a group or share the gospel with a crowd, much less talk about my testimony. It wasn't easy all the time. Being a Christian and being the new kid made me different! A right sort of unusual that I had to learn to share with others. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.” I felt insignificant, less than everyone around me, much less prepared to take the responsibility to share His great news with others. Though my first two years of middle school were rough, God gave me opportunities to step out of my past weaknesses. He's always working for our good, making paths for us to glorify and grow in Him. He chooses normal ordinary people to do extraordinary things! We are to surrender and allow Him to change our life while He is transforming our hearts. This is my Firmsteps story. – Jenna, age 15

Every time I watch this video it brings tears to my eyes. These women are some of the most incredible people that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. ~ Our Freedom Academy is such a sacred place for me. It's a place where honesty is welcome- real, authentic, vulnerable honesty. It's a place where we learn how to dive deep into our own stories so that in turn, we can hold space for the stories around us. We learn what its like to empathize but not fix, and how to impart hope to those who are hurting. ~ These women went deep into their own heartbreak and healing so that they could sit across from people they love and say, "I'm going to sit in this with you, you are not alone". What a gift. I am forever grateful for each group of women that I get to experience this Academy with, my life is forever changed by them. ~ If you have been wanting to join us for an Academy, NOW IS THE TIME! We are doing a special of $200 off if you sign up in the month of November! The early bird pricing ends Nov 30th, so head to the link in my bio for more information or to sign up! We want to see you there!

#Findthejoytoday // day 12 Home. It's a word that perhaps means something different to everyone. For a lot of people, home is the place you come back to when you've wandered far away. Home is the place where you are unconditionally loved. Home is the place where your every need is provided for. Home is where you can be your authentic self. Home is a place where while there might be tears, there is always an abundance of laughter. ⠀ ⠀ At least home is supposed to be these things. When you grow up in an abusive home, home is certainly not these things. In fact, it's oftentimes quite the opposite. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ When people asked me "where's home?" I used to not know how to answer that question. I left the abusive environment I grew up in years ago, and nothing about it felt like the home I described above. I live with some pretty awesome people now, but it's temporary. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I think we should rephrase the question. Not "where's home" but rather, "who's home." In this season, I've learned to embrace Jesus as my home.⠀ ⠀ He is the only one who accepts me and loves me as I am. He is the only one who takes me unconditionally and invites me to His table of grace. He is the only One who cries with me and laughs with me. He is the only One who knows the story behind my scars--inside and out--and yet takes me as I am. He is the only One who is unchanging and unfailing. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Focusing our attention on people and places as home is great. But people fail you. Even the most loving and wise people you know. Places burn down and get destroyed. When we place our hope and trust in these things, we set ourselves up for an awful lot of insecurity and heartache. Jesus is the only One who remains. The only One in whom true joy is found. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ So press in and press on. Let your heart beat only for Him and I promise you'll find more joy than you ever knew existed. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Xoxo⠀ ⠀ @zoe.graces⠀ ⠀ ⠀ // findthejoytoday is a life project to CHOOSE JOY and praise the Lord from the small to the grandiose and everything in between, as we cultivate thankfulness despite our circumstances.
